We are currently looking for a LAN Admin who can lead†end user technical support for organizational staff and assists maintaining Bracketís Local Area Network (LAN). This includes, but is not limited to: servicing help desk requests, providing exceptional end user computing & application support, technical administration and using a variety of skills and knowledge to deliver remarkable customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1/2/3 helpdesk support for internal consumers of Bracket end user resources.
  • Promptly and efficiently provide desk side\remote assistance; responding to helpdesk requests via incident ticketing system, phone, web, or e-mail.
  • Experienced troubleshooting Windows PCs problems, configuring and installing PCs and peripheral equipment, including software updates, system upgrades, † † † † † † † † †Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Familiar with PC imaging techniques using Dell Image Assist or similar technologies.
  • Advanced experience supporting Active Directory, user and group administration, user creation-deactivation, computer object, group policy objects, PowerShell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Support IP Phone, mobile phone, web conferencing and common conference room AV equipment.
  • Support networked printers, personal printers and network copiers.
  • Responsible for corporate and guest wireless networks, troubleshoot access connectivity issues.
  • Make recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase.
  • Participate in identifying new processes or improving existing processes.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware, software, and miscellaneous computer and network supplies.
  • Prepare all required documentation for the portion of work assigned and report.
  • Responsible for physical security administration at local site (Alarm, Access Badges).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Competencies


  • Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Optional certifications in related field (Microsoft, CompTIA)


  • Minimum 2 years experience in mixed protocol environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows platforms with emphasis on Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of Office365, Exchange, IIS/ASP, other scripting/automation languages/tools a plus.
  • Advanced hardware and software skills.
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations for computerized systems preferred.

  • Previously demonstrated proactive and positive approach to tasks and projects overall, as well as to the types of scheduling & process changes that are inherent in a† † † † † † † † fast-paced business.
