We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst with experience in Clinical Supply Forecasting and Planning who will specialize in Bracketís SmartSupplies clinical supply chain management software. This position is primarily responsible for supporting implementations of our SmartSupplies product by working directly with customers to understand their clinical supply chain business needs and translate those needs into system requirements. This candidate must have experience working in a Forecasting and/or Planning capacity within the pharmaceutical industry. This candidate must also have the ability and desire to become an expert in our clinical supply chain management software over time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical supplies subject matter expert for the SmartSupplies team supporting customer consultation and implementation of the SmartSupplies product.
  • Support business development opportunities via customer consultation and communication of SmartSupplies product capabilities in the context of customer desired clinical supply chain business needs.
  • Support customer implementation projects via planning and facilitation of requirements definition sessions with stakeholders to capture business requirements. Lead the analysis, definition and oversight of requirements for applications, products and / or integrations of moderate to advanced complexity.
  • Work with customers to elicit and understand their business requirements, including site visits, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis to ultimately produce functional requirements and system work instruction documentation.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, work with stakeholders to reconcile conflicting information, and translate abstract or high-level information into useful / actionable written documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison among project stakeholders.
  • Perform application configuration for customer implementation projects based on business and system requirements.
  • Participate in training and mentoring efforts of project team members in areas of identified expertise as needed.
  • Effectively coach and counsel customer business users on issues that they may encounter in the course of providing daily project support.
  • Identify potential process improvements for customers, particularly during the scoping and requirements definition phases of implementation projects.
  • Other project work and responsibilities as required.

Do you have the right background for this job?

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelorís degree or equivalent years of experience
  • APICS CSCP preferred
  • 5+ years of experience functioning as a pharmaceutical study manager, manufacturing / packaging & labeling specialist or similar role(s)
  • Knowledge and experience of clinical study regulations and investigation medicinal product supply chains
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, complex project plans, design and technical issues, and business & product requirements
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle concepts preferred but not required
  • Previous demonstrated success in gathering information from a wide variety of sources and subsequently crafting that information into effective and audience-appropriate technical and non-technical documentation
  • Experience working in a regulated technical environment and/or previous experience with clinical software preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously support multiple customer projects of varying scope and complexity with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and be able to establish & maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Detail-oriented and able to successfully plan, prioritize, execute and track tasks and responsibilities in order to meet established individual and group deadlines
  • Strong organizational, time-management, analytical and decision-making skills in order to efficiently evaluate, plan and accomplish personal work goals
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented work culture, providing back-up support to team members & establishing / maintaining effective work relationships with co-workers within and across functional areas necessary
  • Familiarity with cost benefit analysis is a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL Queries is a plus
  • Familiarity with configuring business applications is a plus
  • Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11 is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to work non-standard business hours as needs dictate including ability and willingness to be available to provide project support after hours and on weekends if necessary
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally if required; some travel does take place on/over weekends
